The Scandinavian Big Five

Myth, preconceived ideas, and belief still strongly influence the debate about the Scandinavian big five carnivores. In an attempt to raise general awareness and to separate fact from fiction, the photographers and writers Magnus Elander and Staffan Widstrand together with journalist Johan Lewenhaput have launched the carnivore initiative "The Scandinavian Big Five". The biggest knowledge initiative to date concerning the Scandinavian big five carnivores: Wolf, Bear, Lynx, Wolverine and Man.
